Our Story
We are Ireland’s largest and longest established catering and food service equipment company.
Originally part of the long-established Stephens Suppliers Group, catering equipment was established as its own division in 1971. Thomas and Elizabeth Caves took over ownership of this division in 1977 and renamed the company following its long tradition Stephens Catering Equipment. We are consistently amongst the largest food service equipment firms in Ireland and the UK, having a long track record of delivering some of the most prestigious landmark projects across the market. A great achievement from humble beginnings at the foot of Slemish Mountain in the picture-perfect area of Broughshane in Co. Antrim. We work with our clients (from single site start-ups to multi-site multinationals) from concept to design, to build, install and commissioning and thereafter to maintain and service the equipment to ensure our clients objectives are consistently met. We have offices at Maynooth, Donegal, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow and of course Broughshane. The business continues to be family run with Paul Caves and Julie Morrissey heading up the company.
